Invisalign® Orthodontics

Invisalign® is a "clear" alternative to conventional orthodontics. Instead of metal wires and brackets, the Invisalign® system uses a series of clear plastic trays to gradually move teeth. The clear plastic material in combination with a very intimate fit allows patients to undergo orthodontic treatment virtually unnoticed.

First, impressions of your teeth are made and a treatment plan is designed specifically for you. Invisalign® will then create your custom aligners using precision lasers and computer technology. Every 2 weeks a new series of upper and lower trays are inserted until the ultimate result is achieved. Average treatment time is usually about 12 months; however, this will vary case to case. Invisalign® trays are worn 24 hours a day but are easily removed to eat, brush and floss. Prior to accepting treatment, patients will be able to see the full results in a virtual 3-D computer display that will take you from your smile today to your smile of tomorrow.
